The Hindi-Devanagari Project: Sound without Sound
A display of sound in Hindi through an explanation of the actual sounds of letters and in contrast with examples of soundless hand gestures used in dance.

The Devanagari script cards:
most characters of the hindi alphabet, each character with a long explanation about pronunciation, sound and usage on the back; color coded to separate marks, vowels, semi vowels, velar, palatal, retroflex, dental, and labial consonants, double letters, combination letters...

The Hasta (hand gestures) cards:
examples of Hindi writing; stylized hand gestures with old mythical meaning and name, expressed in dance, explained on the back of each card.
